Dead Phone

My mobile phone has completely died. I've swapped chargers and phone battery. Still nothing.

Its absolutely, utterly, completely dead.

I feel like I've just lost half of my life.

All of my contacts are lost. (I made the stupid mistake of saving my contacts onto my phone instead of my SIM card).

And now its all gone. :(

Can someone recommend a good phone pls ?

i just bought the nokia n73 awhile ago. easy to back-up ur stuff to the pc and comes with usb cable if you don't have bluetooth.

SE k800i is another good one. slightly cheaper with actual flash for the camera.

Thanks quest.. i'm thinking about the SE K800i as well. the only thing i don't like about it is that it doesn't use MS duo. Of which i have about 4gb worth in cards just lying around at home - due to my T1 sony camera. would be nice if i can use those cards for my phone as well.

Whatever you do, do NOT get an LG. Not user friendly at all and definitely fragile as hell.

Get a Sony Ericsson! I love my phone!!

Trust me, I've been tempted to abuse my phone on MANY occasions. I think you should go for a nokia even though they don't look as nice these days or either go for a phony ericsson... oops, I meant sony ericsson.

O2 Atom Exec~~~
naaa... my phone (O2 Atom) is so weird.. knowing that engineerers / programmers don't idle very well, the O2 Atom will at any time randomly cut the mobile phone connection, but YET, shows full reception so that u think u r still connected!! how great is that!!!

I had friends who called my office and told me.. "Hey Chi Sin... u phone gone Chi Sin again... ur mobile is switched off!"

Oh... it's a great phone if your other half loves to call u every 5 seconds asking where you are...

ok.. on the serious note, i'm happy that it's acting as my memory now... now i can accept dinner appointments anywhere without double booking... (although i need much more ppl calling me to book me in the 1st place) and after sync in both work & home... i can see my work calendar entries and decide if i should throw a sickie or not... hahahahaha

vBTW, my colleague who bought O2 Atom Exec said he hasn't encounter that problem as yet...

chi sin.. the O2 Xda Atom Exec looks a bit too geeky. i can't really imagine pulling out one of these from my pocket to take a call when i'm at a pub.
